My router stops working chat tells me i need a new router and a rech visit cuz my router is from 2023, my wife brings us home a newer cox router which shows up as a strong signal but they say its not compatible with my plan then they start trying to upsell me on my data plan for the third time in 2 days im feeling like its a planned obsolescence and trying to milk $ for a router and tech visit conidering my first chat was unsuccessful with the tech being more concerned with the upsell data plan than actually helping me then the second chat when i introduced the idea of the newer router went strait into an attempt to upsell me when i told them know then attempted to suggest sending the relevant numbers from the newer router to connect it from their side the tech completely ignored me and i had to close the chat after trying for 20 minutes to get them to respond. I have been left feeling as though im being worked over to bully me into spending more money which i just don't have.
