Outdoor Junction Box
My internet goes out continuously throughout the day. I bought a tester, and the issue is coming from the box attached to the side of my house. Is that box really necessary, or does it just provide a connection point between the cable coming from the source and the cable going into the house? If it is necessary, how do I get someone to come fix or replace it?
Thank you.

The demarcation point "demarc" is the final piece of Cox equipment before connecting with your house cables. If there is an issue with this box or any other equipment on Cox's side of the demarc, Cox will repair or replace it at no cost to you. Contact Cox and schedule a tech. However, if no issue is found with Cox's equipment, you'll be charged for the tech visit.
