Modem keeps getting hacked

Someone keeps breaking into my modem. I’ve tried changing the password but for some reason they still can break thru.
I’ve got the cox app and a lot of unknown devices keep popping in. Is there something that you can do?

Hi! Yep I’ve tried that but then it keeps connecting again with other names. It’s a little bit weird lol
I doubled checked it wasn’t one of my devices but I only have a phone and a fire tv which they show just fine

Can you compare the MAC addresses of each unknown device to your known devices?

Do you have other wireless routers in your home?

So I found out what happened! Yesterday I bought one of those ring doorbells that connects to the modem by wifi.

Well it turns out it’s pretty easy to connect to them as explained here: https://www.makeuseof.com/ring-doorbell-hack/amp/ this explains everything lol
