Looking for feedback on Motorola MB8611 w/Gigablast

I own a brand new ASUS RT-AX3000.  I also own a Netgear CM1000, which I've had for a while.  Despite the CM1000 being supposedly compatible w/gigablast, it was a definite no-go.  As well, I've seen several posts with those having issues with the CM1000.  From what I've seen, the MB8611 appears to be a decent choice, can anyone confirm, at least the MB8611 is a good gigablast modem?  Thanks
