Inability to sign on to cox email...

I see all the past issues with accessing email that are now locked for new comments.  For the past 10 months I can not access my accounts through my hombre pc. I've tried several browsers.  Chrome,  Microsoft,  firefox modzilla... I wad then informed my pc was too old for cox's  new appsuite. Brand new pc installed yesterday,  same problem. Went through all the same steps as last time with cox chat. Anyone find a solution that works?

Hi KDickson, using whichever browser you prefer, type http://myaccount.cox.net into the Address bar and press Enter. Type in your Cox User ID and password. Are you able to log in successfully? -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

Can not get in via enhanced webmail.  Can only get to email via classic mode.  And, sometimes not this way.  Have had problem for past month o so.  Gotten worse.

Hi Northwooes, since your email accounts are still on the Legacy Email platform, the best way for you to access Webmail is from webmail.cox.com. Click the Enhanced WebMail radio button, type in your User ID and password, and click Sign In. What happens? -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

Same issue here. Was told by a support person to reset my password and that I should be able to log in easily (since they could see everything). Have reset it twice now. Still can't access my e-mail. Thank God I don't use it for anything important, as it is untrustworthy.

Hi. Did you reset your password through the forgot password link on idm.east.cox.net/.../myemail and answer the secret question? Also, please make sure you are using a totally new password that isn't any variation of your old password. Once you reset your password, you will need to update all devices and 3rd party applications that are used to access email. Please let us know how this works for you. Thanks, Lisa - Cox Support Forums Moderator

Yes I did (through the "forgot password" link, and answered the secret question). New password has nothing common with old password. The only thing I use to access Cox e-mail are my two desktops, and only through the Cox website. Still doesn't work.....

I've reset password,  gone through different browsers.  All the same.  I was told twice my problem was being escalated to tier 2.... but no one has contacted me. Nothing has been resolved.

Hi KMRing, a while back Cox updated all of their email settings. I'm including a link that explains that process: https://bit.ly/2AtkAjE . Please take a moment to review the information, then try myemail.cox.net and let us know if that works for you. -Thanks, Carol

I don't use ANY of those clients listed. I use the website only - your website. It...does...not...work. As I said earlier, I'm glad that I don't trust Cox webmail for anything important, at least for about the last 7 years. I've been a Cox customer for over 30 years, and this is a new low.

I had issue with MS Edge . I found that using InPrivate browsing worked for me.

The new interface is a complete joke. PLEASE give me the option to go back to the old, simple interface. It is obvious after months of pain that this new system does not work, and that COX does not seem to have the tech skills to make it work. We need the option to go back to the classic interface and just have a simple client to quickly access our mail on the web. This is one of the worst "upgrades" I have seen a company do. And it is like COX just ignores the fact that it doesn't work. Pitiful.
