How to get rids of the ridiculous amout of adds

  Hello all

from what i found the way to get rid of all the ads in my email is to pay a ransom. Don’t I already pay for the privilege to have cox email by having their internet? Why would i pay more? How do i get rid of all the ads? I just want the emails i am supposed to get!
