I LUV calling those people. I run a virtual machine, windows vista 32 bit, and they take HOURS trying to remote access it, then when they are in, I let them muck it up, and then when I reboot and delete all changes, I ask them for their address so I can send em a check. When they want me to login to my bank, I tell them I have never done it, and it doesn't work anyways.. LOL LOL. I strung one along once for 3 hours. That's 3 hours that he wasn't scamming someone! KITBOGA is my hero, LOL!

I would try myself but the numbers in the email have been disconnected. How dare you make someone use Vista. That was such a horrible OS IMO. 😂

I know, but it so darned funny to watch them try to get any desk, ultraviewer, and a HOST of others remote access software working, the ONLY thing that will run is an OLD version of team viewer. I try SOO hard not to laugh at them until I mute the phone.

What do you use for your virtual platform? I am trying to enable sandbox on my Windows 11 laptop but can't find it under features. Is there some other program/app that I can use? It would be best it I can install it on my Windows 10 Home edition desktop. Right now I boot into Live Ubuntu USB and use that as my secure environment for risky things.

I use VMware. Purchased it and setup a number of virtual systems, windows 95/98/me/nt/2000/vista/7/8/10 and 11, 2 versions of linux, and Mac OSX. That way when i want to go to a questionable web site, or mess with someone, or test out software, I can do so without messing my regular system.

Just tried to get VMware Workstation 17 free to work on my desktop but I get a EFI error on boot of the virtual machine. Similar to this issue. Turns out I need VMware Workstation PRO for those advanced boot options. Booo 😭 That is 200$ I don't have. Back to the USB I go.

::edit:: Nevermind, I used a text editor to edit the VMX file and I am back in business. Woot! One time where reading the YT comments payed off. Now I just have to get through the install process on the virtual drive.
