Cox screwed me on my bill.
I have had cox since 2023. My bill changed this month with no warning from 69 to 100 due to a "promotion" ending when they gave me said promotion for the next month. So you guys just screwed me out of 30 dollars for what? I am so upset and couldn't get help, a refund, nothing. Instead I got a rude customer service rep, Mohammad, if they even were a real person. I should not be having to deal with this BS of getting 30 bucks taken from me for no reason. To pay 70 dollars alone for shitty internet is crazy but 100?!!! When it is my only option, that is extortion. I would get rid of cox if I could after this.

Hello racheldarlinghome,
I appreciate wanting to know how to see active discounts and when these discounts end, so you can be prepared for a rate change or how to plan ahead. Cox realizes it is important to be informed and have transparency in the bill statement, so the company added details on the printed statement. If you've signed up for paperless billing, you have access to view PDF statements online through My Account on cox.com or the Cox App. You may also manage account notifications within My Account if you wish to update notifications and methods.
Steps to view your billing details online are here for anyone who needs that www.cox.com/residential/support/accessing-your-bill-online.html. The second page of the PDF will show details and dates of active promotions and how much they save.
Updating Notification preferences: www.cox.com/residential/support/changing-contact-information-and-notification-preferences-online.html.
I understand how important it is to save as much as possible, especially if a discount has ended. I'm sorry to hear of your experience when you were helped before. We strive to provide a positive experience, especially at times of stress during any service issue or billing concern is raised. Our forum community is great at getting helpful technical steps from others who are knowledgeable, so thank you for reaching here for help. If you have additional concerns about your account bill or services and have a moment for support, we have a team available to receive you to go over any billing or details of technical issues at Cox.Help@cox.com where we'd ask for your name, complete address, and some detail of the service or account concerns.
