Cox email move

For Office Outlook users - will it help to Open & Export an Outlook data file [.pst].  Then Import after you get Outlook set up with the 'app password' referenced in Yahoo story: "Update your cox.net email settings in Outlook, Mail on Mac and other third-party email clients"  Microsoft walked me thru this process when I updated to Office 2013.  Waiting until I update to Office 2021 [later this week] to try to add my cox emails back in.  Yahoo story does not reference Office 2019 or 2021- hoping it will be the same.
