Cannot connect through Cox Pods
I have two panoramic wifi pods and panoramic router. I have moved the pods to be closer to the router - yet, app says the pods are connected, but I can't go very far from the router without losing connection to the internet or having connection waver in and out. Its extremely annoying for how much money I've paid for the services and pods. Last time a technician was here to upgrade my router he said I shouldn't even need the pods in a house my size. But I told him I can't even go in my dining room without losing connection, let alone my patio. He also said technicians cannot help with pods and that I was on my own for that. I work from home and end up having to use my cellular service Mobile Hotspot to be able to work from different areas in my home, which is why I never even considered switching to Cox mobile phones.

Is the modem out in the open? NOT behind anything, and not under anything? Is it in a smartbox, if so remove it, think Faraday cage. WiFi connectivity is also affected by other devices. Cordless phones, Microwave Ovens, bluetooth devices, cordless keyboard and mice, game controllers, baby monitors, garage door openers, and radio controlled toys. I actually assisted someone who's next door neighbor had a baby monitor and every time she turned it on, it knocked out the wifi in the home and the 2 adjacent homes.
The modem really needs to be in the open, raised as high as it can be. everything in between the WiFi modem and any device trying to talk to it, blocks the signal. The denser the object the more it blocks.
Also helped someone once that said, every time he closes his bedroom door he loses WiFi. Well, he had a full length MIRROR on the inside of the door, and it reflected the WiFi. Appliances block a LOT of signal, as they are very dense.
