XBOX Live disconnect but internet still running
Hi have problems with my xbox 360 staying connected to xbox live. It can happen at any time but mostly when I am gaming or streaming videos. I will still be connected to the internet on my PC but it disconnects from xbox live. I have tried calling xbox live support, but they claim it is my internet provider. Can anyone tell me if they are experiencing the same issue and how to fix it? I have a Motorola Surfboard SBG6782-AC gateway modem and Cox Premier Service. My download speed is 20-25mbps and upload from 14-21Mbps. I have a blue ray play that streams just fine but in the bedroom on the xbox it always drops on me.

Is your Xbox wired or wireless?
Also, how often does it happen? Once a day/hour/alot/etc
Also, have you set up port forwarding for the Xbox?
Last, when your kicked off Xbox, and you do the connection test, where does it fail?

I'm experiencing the same issues. I have my Xbox wired to my router. I decided to rent the router from Cox. It's the base version. I've done all the port forwarding and recommended fixes that Microsoft gives. I still get dropped from Xbox live. My guess is it has to either be the router or the service.

Ubee DDW365 provided by Cox. It's hooked up straight to the wall.
Xbox is wired to the Ubee.
It happens within an hour of trying to play, if not, the first 30 minutes.
I have indeed set up port forwarding.
When it kicks me off xbox live, it disconnects me and gives me an error #, that I have looked up and used Microsofts tips to fixing. It didn't really work. When I test the connection directly after the issues occurs, it tells me nothing is wrong with my connection.
Hope this information helps.

This is the closest I could find for instructions for your model. Let me know if it helps.
In general though, I don't suggest gateways for gaming. Separate modem/router is almost always best.

Then either something was done wrong or the unit doesn't work correctly. All I can do is refer to the documentation. Without having the unit myself, I can't say anything for sure. Is there anything in the logs about anything being blocked? Do you have anything else between the gateway and Xbox? Have you called Ubee or Xbox support?
But again, because of the lack of control of the firmware, the amount of support you will find for gateways is limited. There more for people who don't know better to be honest. If you have the funds, I really suggest a separate modem and router.
BTW, what is the error number you get?

Have you tried everything on this page? Doesn't seem to be a network error. But a system error of some type. Looks like either clear your cache 3 times or your account has been blocked or hacked. After trying those things I would suggest calling Xbox.

Check info here
http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/errors/error-code-8015190e
Explore the Xbox site, there are several things you can try, clear cache, reboot everything, go back and call them again and tell them the error.
