wifi modem and connection of mobile devices

Hi alaboy,

It sounds like there is a signal issue with those devices.  How far away are you from the router are you?  You can try changing the channel on the router as well, that should help with the disconnects.  What type of router do you have?

before even knowing whats going on your'e Probably going to be told to upgrade your modem, if it's newer fight it, too many issues with slowing down and connectivity lately only to turn around and request the customer upgrade their equipment. I got conned into a new gateway and the POS has the same issues I did before hand. and when you do call be prepared for the famous "everything is fine on our side" line that gets spewed out to pissed off customers daily.

What modem and router are you using? maybe you do need an upgrade but I'm betting on a connection issue from your houses drop or at the trunk/node.

You might look in the router config and check the Channel Bandwidth settings if available. I had issues with my iPad 4 dropping its WiFi connection with my ASUS RT-N66R intermittently before I changed my router from the default Auto to 20 MHz. Its worth a try.
