Where is the user manual?
I upgraded today from old Cox DVR service to Contour 2, DVR+6 service, got our 2 boxes swapped out for 1 recording box and 1 client box, but now that I've played around with it some, I still have a lot of questions which I haven't found answers for in the forums. So I'm looking for a nice, excruciatingly-detailed pdf manual.

which is a nice 138 page pdf I found referenced in a forum but it was last updated in 2012. I also found this one

It's more recent updated in October of 2014, but the "screen pictures" don't look like mine, the remote looks like my old remote. not my new remote. Is that second one the most recent user manual/guide or is there a more recent one?

I can't find a PDF manual for Contour 2 either. I found this website that has a lot of the info a manual typically has, but found no links to a actual manual. Both links given in OP points to Trio, which is Contour(1). Hopefully someone else or a moderator will be able to help more.

We've requested that Marketing provide an online PDF Contour 2 User Manual, but we don't have one at this time. Tecknowhelp's link is a great place to start! Don't miss the Welcome Kit and the video tour.

Same complaint on Comcast forums, X1 has been available for 3 years and still no user guide.

Have has the Contour several months and its flexibility is wanting. Add that only a "quickstart" style manual you feel this a quickfix not a technolgy forward application.
END USER Questions: How do you separate the lists of shows from the recording box and the client box. Separating Lists by user possible?
Any link to Contour 2 manual or stepsheets to navigate by would be a real plus!

We don't yet have a Contour 2 user manual, but you might find answers to some of your questions at http://bit.ly/Contour2Resource.
At this time, the "recorded" list for folks with multiple Contour 2 host DVRs is available only as one combined list. We've gotten quite a few requests to provide a way to separate the list by DVR, so that feature might become available in a future update.

Isn't the pattern that you create a user manual BEFORE you release the product? Also, doesn't it seem like a coinsidence that both Comcast and Cox don't have the manual. Cox thought they were getting support material with the software, but nope, Comcast doesn't care about the manual, and IMO Cox won't either.
