What happened to Disney jr ch 26 on basic cable?
I went over to my folks house with my 4yr old. They have basic svc., no box, and a few days ago we were watching Disney jr on ch 26. Now it is the regular Disney channel. We can't find Disney jr anywhere. Where did it go?

Disney Junior is channel 376 in that area (digital). This will naturally require a digital subscription and converter box.

They are just digital, and not encrypted right? So all that is needed is a digital tuner, AKA any modern LCD type TV these days. Or does Junior now use SDV?

Funny, my folks only have basic service with no boxes of any kind going to their led tv. Up until about a week ago Disney channel was ch 25 and Disney jr was ch 26. Noe nickelodeon is ch 25 and Disney channel is ch 26. Trust me I'm not going crazy. We do not subscribe to cable in my home yet when he goes to his grandparents house he used to watch Mickey mouse club, jake and the pirates, doc. Mcstuffins and some princess show in the mornings. This was up until a s little as a week ago.

I have checked every channel line up for every provider in the 32534 and every Cox lineup in Florida and even the OTA. I even dug into the archives and checked what was listed on the line up up to a year ago, and no Disney Jr on 25/26. My best guess was someone was broadcasting it in the clear when they shouldn't have and they caught it and fixed it. That stinks.
