watching cable on a smart TV with no cable hook up
.bought a Samsung 40" smart TV to put in my garage because I was told I could use the contour app to watch TV,not the case so a search showed that I could use the Internet but that wants a flash update that I can't seem to do.
what is the trick to me watching TV wirelessly on my smart TV?
I did try one other thing,used contour on my iPad and cable to my TV but each time it starts to play a show I get a license error.

The Contour 2 app is supported on iOS, Android and Windows, see here for supported devices. My guess is your smartTV doesn't support the Contour app. You may be able to Cast if to a Chromecast or similar device from your iPad or an Android phone.
Who told you that you could stream directly to the smartTV?
