Using power line modems to replace cable
Is it possible to connect your tv to the cable set top box using power line modems?
On my living room I don't have a cable on the tv wall. I'm connected to internet with power line modems so I can access streaming services on the smart tv, but I don't have access to the cable channels. With Contour I'm not allowed to use screen share.
Any suggestion? Thanks

Short of rigging some way to moduate QAM over powerline, I don't think that would be possible.
You could move the cable box to a media room, then output the video via HDMI to a HDMI > Ethernet adapter, then go ethernet to powerline. I have never tried anything like it, but it might work. You would then need some kind of IR repeater so you could control the box in the media room. Also, you would adding a few bottlenecks, so there is a chance picture quality would suffer. What kind of throughput are you seeing from the powerline?
