Something else is going on if it takes you 3 days to upload a 10 min video. Last one I uploaded was 238MB and took less than 1/2 hour to upload. Even if you are in the 500MB range, it should take under an hour. My plan is Preferred (50Mbps down and 6Mbps up).
What plan are you on? Can you post a speedtest result? What size file are you uploading?

Can you answer all the questions Allen asked? What plan are you on? What speed are you getting for upload on speedtests?
Also, what are you uploading to? There could be a bottleneck on that end too.

Ok, so your plan is for 5Mbps upload, and your getting 6Mbps? Sounds like your getting what you signed up for then. If you wanted higher upload, you would have to upgrade your package. Short of being in a Gigablast market, I think the upload caps at 20Mbps for Ultimate. At 5Mbps, if everything else was perfect, it would take 8hr+ to upload a file that big. 20GB is just a very large file. What kind of file compression are you using?

well it takes days....i wonder if there is a discrepancy between the test and actual bandwidth usage.
i am not compressing i am not savy in that department. i am mostly using my cellphone camera, and using fraps for my video game how to movies.

Yes, there is. There is discrepancy between all tests and websites. A speedtest is like seeing how fast your car can go. That doesn't mean it WILL go that fast. How fast it actually goes depends on the traffic, speed limit, length and size of road. Where are you uploading to? Youtube? Twitch?
Well I'm afraid that is the only answer. You're getting what you pay for, you either need to buy more (upgrade upload speed) or make what your uploading smaller(compressing). Here is a decent video on how to compress fraps file.

There is a finite amount of bandwidth, and since more people use download other then upload, priority is given to download. Also, channel bonding on the upstream isn't as advanced as downstream channels. There also issue with how the technology works and balancing at the head end that makes it slightly more difficult to provide higher upload. Here is a article that goes into more depth.
