Ultimate Tier Internet with 4 Splitters on the line going to my Modem...
I was not at my house when the techs came and installed my internet after I moved. And after a while I finally decided to look at the work they did just to notice 4 splitters, none of which are directional coupler splitters on the same line going to my cable modem. Instead of routing 1 directly off the first split to my modem they cut the line 4 times to drop lines to other rooms. Shouldn't a certified Cox Technician know better then this? I mean dang the customer knows more then the dang tech...
Now I am pushing -18 Downstream PL with a DS SNR of 24
Kind of crappy paying for top tier internet and getting something i would expect with the lowest tier.

I would agree with those levels that there probaby are too many splitters between the tap and the modem. I would suggest arranging for another technician to come out and redo the installation.
