ultimate internet only available to businesses?

so my friend and i were interested in getting into live video games streaming at 720p. not pro made i know but we called cox to get the 5 meg upload plan that most streamers recommend as you can barely stream at all with a 1.5 meg upload plan. come to find out they dont have it in this area but after a little digging with some friends in the area we found they do offer it to business! grr why does internet around the usa have to be so awful. most business actually use it less net than a person would. not everyone is doing this for email or uploading a few images to facebook!

now we have been lookign for other options. verision does have a 3 meg upload plan but the download speeds are pretty bad. there is a comcast a county away but sadly they havn't moved in on this turf yet and seems like there is some mutal agreement that they wont :( hoping comcast buys out cox already!
