Ubee Dual Band Wi-fi router not showing up as an access point for my Wii
I am trying to connect my Wii to my Ubee Dual Band ($150) Wi-Fi Router I bought from Cox and it is not showing up in the access point list on the Wii wireless set up page. Does anyone have any answers?

Try turning off the "N Support required" option. Page 9-10 of manual to log in and page 68 on how to change the band.
Also, are you trying to connect Wii or Wii-U?

You might try a different wireless channel in the settings on the off chance something is interfering on that channel.

Yes it shows many other routers. I renamed my router so that I would recognize it instead of the huge series of numbers/letters. It is still not showing up. Every neighbor in my complex is, except mine.

Just got off of work...and, nope, didn't work. To boot, the premium channels i subscribe to aren't working on demand either even with a box refresh. I just got this all installed Saturday! Sad....Real sad!

When i reset to defaults, it automatically set the ssid back to factory name. Still didn't show up

Not at the moment because i am at work but last i checked, all were lit steadily

This seems to be a common problem. Try a manual setup, and change the SSID back to something easy to type in since you will have to manually type in the SSID via Wii's clonky interface (IMHO). See here for the Wii forum post on the issue. Pay close attention to step 7, because this will depend on how you set up your network. You don't want to set the IP to one your router already gave out, and you probably want to create a DHCP reservation. If you don't know how, not a big deal, there will just be some times where you will have to reboot the router if you get a IP conflict.
1. Go into connection types, Hit "Manual Configuration"
2. Input your SSID
3. Input the correct security type, this is key.(I suggest WPA2+AES, but use what ever your router is set to)
4. Put your password in properly
5. For ip address "Do not auto obtain".
6. open up cmd in your computer, type in ipconfig
7. Now input that ip address but add 10 to the last number so "192.168.0.1" will be entered as "192.168.0.11"
8. Enter the rest of your info inside such as subnet mask and default gateway exactly as you see it in your ipconfig.
9. Now hit next, hit configure now for your DNS. When asked about DNS hit "Dont auto obtain".
10. For the first server put in 8.8.8.8
11. For the second server put in 8.8.4.4
12. Hit Next, when asked about a proxy hit no proxy
13. Leave mtu as the default
