TV programing

Most of the time the channels in the variety package are temporary off the air, usually in the evening ,the only time I can watch. Why?

Hi Arecibo,

The "Temporarily off Air" error message is generic; it could indicate that the cable receiver is out of sync with our network and needs to be reset, and it can also indicate a possible signal issue. If the cable signal getting to the receiver isn't as strong as it needs to be, lots of odd symptoms can occur!

Make sure all the cable connections to the cable box are finger-tight. Reset the cable box by unplugging the power for 10 seconds and plugging it back in, and then give the cable box 3-5 minutes to go through its reset process. You can also reset your cable box through the Cable Connection Reset Tool, found at http://bit.ly/ResetYourCableConnection.
