TV CABLE CONNECTION
Why do the have an inline filter on my cable in bedroom and when it gets disconnected it shuts the whole house down?

That sounds like a MoCA filter which is used to prevent the whole home DVR networking signal from leaving the home and/or reaching other devices which aren't part of the DVR network.
