TiVo
After 4 phone calls and a tech visit including a three way call my TiVo still only shows channles up to 27/1027 (14 works but 1014 does not) I am out of options. The people on the cox side claim the card / tuning adapter is paired correctly. My signal levels are beyond good. So why do I only get basic channels? Please help.

How is the tuning adapter connected to the Tivo ?? Parallel or series, It should be parallel & the USB cable should be connected. Also if you have the Motorola MTR700, there is a firmware issue with the newer Tivo Roamio series of DVR's. The firmware on the MTR700 tuning adaptor will need to be flashed to the latest revision in order to work with the Tivo

Not quite the same problem but since I was also missing channels, maybe this is similar:
Made various calls to Cox support, finally connected with Carl and the problem was solved.
We had two Tivos with cablecards and tuning adapters that worked fine. The third Tivo/cablecard/TA pair worked except no HBO. Tried changing cables, swapping out splitters, etc. Finally found forum posts that talked about VAL must contain "V". Mine had a "?". The other two setups had "V".
Some tech entered a wrong number in the cablecard info and that kept this cablecard/tuning adapter pair from pairing and verifying.
One more tech call and a diligent support person (Carl) picked up the problem, corrected it, re-pairedthe cards and all is fine.
Look at: Tivo, Settings & Messages, Settings, Remote, CableCARD, & Devices,CableCARD Decoder, CableCARD options, CableCARD Menu, Conditional Access.
Con should be Yes, and Val should be V. If Val is? then he pairing has not been verified/validated and you lose channels.
