Tivo and Cox lineup change

Anyone on here that has both Cox cable and a Tivo box?  With the recent lineup changes, I've noticed that Tivo has not updated it's listings.  When I talked with Tivo, they said they have not received any updates from Cox.  Please tell me I'm not the only one with this problem.  Oh, this is the Tulsa Oklahoma market so I'm not sure if Cox has changed the lineup so heavily as here.

The big question is, who is the guide information and channel list actually sourced from. I'm dealing with this same issue for Windows Media Center. For it, the guide is sourced from Tribune (same folks that power zap2it.com), and Cox seems to have neglected to notify the various guide providers of the change to the channel lineup. I've sent notifications to both zap2it, and to Microsoft (they have a not well known page where these issues can be reported, so they can follow up with their providers), I guess it is on us end users to try and nag these companies to clear up Cox's mess. If you can determine the company that actually sources the channel list and guide map, you might get the best direction of who to complain to to get it fixed. Tivo seems to not want to own the problem, and Cox probably isn't the party that supplies the channel list to Tivo anyway (I could be wrong, but usually these things are sourced by Tribune or some other channel guide aggregator service).

Hi Everyone,

We are experiencing problems with our channel update from our recent update. The Contour mobile application, TV Connect web are still showing the old channel lineup and TIVO is not loading the new channel lineup at all. There is no ETR at this time however, the appropriate group has been notified and is working on a resolution.

That would explain the problem I have seen as well.

Add schedulesdirect.org to the list that has not been updated.  I use schedules direct with MythTV and Plex.


My set-up: 

HDHomeRun Prime (3xTuners) ----->MythTV (DVR) ---------  ----->Set-top boxes, PC, laptops,tablets, phones..etc
  \--->Plex (Media Portal)--- --/

I only got a email yesterday from COX about it. More heads up would have been nice.

Hi Everyone,

The issue with Tivo has been resolved. If you are not getting the new lineup, I suggest re-scanning or resetting the Tivo.
