Thunderbird mail client & IMAP = no longer connecting

Yesterday it worked fine - has been for a few months.  Today I open the application (Thunderbird) and I get the spinning circle of WAIT WAIT WAIT!  Nothing ever happens.  Cannot receive mail but I can send mail but I receive an error "can't be copied to sent mail folder".

Checked  all the settings = OK

Can use COX webmail to see new email = YES

Troubles with IMAP on your end?

Please advise...

I looked on our end however I'm not seeing any server issues.  Are you still experiencing issues?  Do you have the same problem on a different device?

Thanks for checking your end.  The spinning has stopped as of this mornings login to the mail account via Thunderbird.

Glitch? Aliens? Not sure...

I'll come back if it happens again.
