Throttling internet speed back due to data use
Does anyone know if Cox is throttling back speed dependent on the data usage? Since their marketing attemtps for me to upgrade my plan i have noticed reduced internet speed. I have insopected my devices and all are operating at prestine conditions. When I have asked the same questions of Cox xustomer assistance I continued to receive no specific responses,

Are you looking to troubleshoot your speed or just trying to vent? If you want to troubleshoot, please post some details ...please see Tecknowhelp's thread here for the type of information needed, thanks. Just saying " I have insopected my devices and all are operating at prestine conditions." really doesn't help.

Along with most of what is in that thread, it would help to know what speeds you were getting before and after Cox's marketing attempts. It could be Cox polls their bandwidth monitor and tried to upsell anyone who is at or beyond their cap. Check their bandwidth monitor and compare it to your own. Do they match? If not, maybe something on your network is using more bandwidth then usual, which would slow your connection down. This is speculation, but it is worth exploring IMO.
