The remote buttons.

If I want to play a movie in my dvd/blue ray player what specifically do I have to do on the remote to do that?

Hi Delores Carbone, The connection coming from the DVD/blue ray player determines what input the TV needs to be on. Try this test: put a DVD in the player. On the Cox remote, press and release the TV button. Then press the Input button on the remote until the TV changes to the DVD "home" screen. Please let us know if this works!
