Got a recent email from 'Cox Communications'. This one looks so bogus it 'oozes with slime'!

I agree; that email did not come from Cox. This is a very good example of "phishing." Phishing is an attempt to criminally and fraudulently acquire sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords and credit card details, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. We urge our customers to be wary of any emails requesting that you respond with personal user information. Cox is committed to protecting our customers’ privacy and will never ask a customer for such sensitive information via email.
