suddenly cannot access email on iPad/iPhone
For the past few days emails have not been downloading to my iPad or iPhone. I am able to access the internet through both devices just fine … no problems except when I go to the webmail.east.cox.net website (I went there thinking I could check email directly from cox website). When I attempt to access that page it does not load and eventually times out -- while at the same time I can access Facebook, google, etc without issues.
This happens whether I'm on 4g or attempting to access through my regular wireless points.

Could you include the link your using to log into Cox webmail?
Also, can you access other parts of Cox website? Obviously you can get to Cox.com, since your posting here, but what about ww2.cox.com?

This is the link I use to access webmail directly from cox site:
webmail.east.cox.net
I cannot access it from my iPad or iPhone … but I can access any other site on the net from those devices.
Nor can I download email for one of my cox accounts (the one that has been on that phone for years). Doesn't matter if I am home, on 4g or on a public wireless … doesn't download mail any longer. And cannot access the link I gave above.
I'm currently accessing this forum from my desktop.

Not sure how those two issues relate. The email program not working sounds like a password issue. I would suggest changing it to something it never was before and trying then.
As for the webpage itself, Im not sure what would cause that. I know I can access it from RI, and log in and see my mail. Can you ping webmail.east.cox.net? If you cant ping it, can you run a tracert? If you need instruction on how on either, let me know.
Anything special about your internet? Like a VPN for work or special DNS?
