Slow internet connection and dropped connections
I live in the 74012 area code (Broken Arrow, OK) and since the last week in January 2012 our Cox internet service has been extremely slow and we sometimes even lose our internet connection. Is Cox experiencing issues? I called Cox and we had our modem reset but that has not corrected the problem. This is getting really frustrating.
We are using a Netgear N600 router. Is it our router that is causing the issues or Cox? Both the modem and router has been reset so not sure what else we can do to correct the problem on our side.
Please advice.

I'm not showing any outages for that system. At the times when you lose the service, do you notice the lights on the modem going out?
If you have them, have you had any problems with digital cable or telephone service at the same time you have internet problems?
