Hi, i want to setup port forwarding for my surveillance system, but I can't go to the gateway interface http://192.168.0.1. The web browser always time out. I tried Internet Explorer (IE), firefox, and Chrome at two different computers. is there any way I can see the login page? thanks in advance.

That is the correct login for your router. What error do you get when you try to go to the login IP? Are you plugged in directly or are you wireless? The only other browser you have not tested yet is Safari, that would be worth a try as well. Do you have any firewall software running on the computer?

Is this the first time you have tried accessing the page? If not, when did it last work? Anything change around then?
Do you have any other routers on your network? Sometimes surveillance systems themselves can have web UI on the same IP range as the Netgear. I have even seen some that have entire DHCP servers built in for IP cameras. Try unplugging everything from the CG3000Dv2 except one wired connection and access it via that.
