quality of email
Without my changing any settings, my emails could not be sent. I contacted Cox techs and their fix erased all incoming and sent emails after 2012. Some of these were important. Can I get them back?

We don't backup the contents of customer email boxes. One thing you could try is looking in webmail to see if the messages you're looking for are still there. If so, there's a pretty good chance of getting them all downloaded into your email program.

If you have any family or friends which are tech suavy, they can try recovering the PST file, which is the file on your computer that actually holds your email data. Check out this link. How exactly did they delete all the email? Knowing that might help to know if recovery is possible.
