Premiere plan speeds
Hi I just upgraded to premiere from preferred and it says I should receive up to 150mbps. I'm using a zoom 5341J modem (an approved model) and I'm very happy to be getting in the 90mbps range but that's really only 60% of what they are advertising. They have setup a technician to come out and evaluate my connection but they are threatening if it's my equipment I have to pay up to 75$. Is there are tips as to magically making this modem more efficient or chances are they have a problem with the cable lines causing the limited DL speed? Thanks for any info

Do you have a router connected to the zoom modem? What model? How are you testing, wired to wireless? If wired, are the connections gigabit, cat-5e or 6? Getting 90Mbps sounds like you have a 100Mbps, not gigabit network connection. If wireless, are you using "ac"? Wireless n could cause the speeds you are seeing.
