****Your "Live Chat" people should be made aware of this because I asked them first and they didn't have a clue!!!

I did find it myself:::::::
GREENVILLE, SC - Typically when the phone rings at Doris Dearybury's house, it's one of her kids.
Not the other day.
"It was the most scary call I ever got," said Doris.
The name and number on her caller ID was hers.
"I didn't know what to do," said Doris. "I mean, I was really concerned."
Turns out, Doris was spoofed. And it's happening across South Carolina.
Officials at the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs say in the past few weeks they've seen a sudden increase in complaints from people saying they're getting calls from themselves.
"It's kind of weird that it's happened so frequently in the past couple of weeks when we've never really seen it before," said spokesperson Juliana Harris.
It's a form of caller ID spoofing, where scammers use a false name and number to make you think they're legit. In this case, Harris says they may be trying to throw you off before you even pick up the phone.
The Arizona Republic has reported that collection agencies and telemarketing operations sometimes use this method of masking their phone number.
But, in many cases, it can be a scam -- and concern folks.
"A lot of consumers have expressed that they were kind of scared, that they thought maybe someone was in their home calling from the phone or something of that nature," said Harris.
"So it's kind of frightening people. And I think that might be the ultimate objective."
Doris says she'll keep checking her caller ID and if it's not family, she'll let it ring.
"I look at the number before I answer," said Doris.
If you get one of these calls, don't answer. Or, if you do, hang up.
It's also important to report it to Consumer Affairs so they can track the activity. You can call 1-800-922-1594.
You can also report these calls to the Federal Trade Commission.
