Outlook says my Cox email settings are "out of date"
I have a new PC and am adding my email addresses to Outlook. Others have loaded fine but my three Cox accounts -- though they are loaded on Outlook -- have not populated with my emails. The program keeps telling me that my Cox account settings are "out of date." The only thing I see that's under my control is changing from Classic to Expanded format, which didn't solve the problem. Any ideas? Thanks!

Which version of Outlook are you using on the new PC? When you added the email accounts did you use POP or IMAP? Here is a link with the server information that you would need to use - https://www.cox.com/residential/support/setting-up-an-email-account-in-outlook-for-windows.html.

Derek.... that link does not work. Perhaps posting one that does would be helpful?

Try Googling "Outlook settings out of date" and see what comes up. Could be a Windows or Outlook issue and not Cox.
