Only getting 32 Mbps dowload with a new Aris 6183 3.0 DOCSIS modem
I have used the tech chat line several times and this is not resolved. I have also searched for answers here and it seems that "service code" for the new modem has not been reset. I have also upgraded from the Preferred internet to the Premier with up to 100 Mbps.
I am wired directly from the modem to my PC, I have rebooted many times. The modem blue connectivity lights are on indicating high speed channel bonding according to the manual.
I am still getting only around 32 Mbps download, the same as my old DOCSIS 2.0 (Motorola SB5501)
I am really getting frustrated with this. Any ideas?

You should either CALL tech support and demand to be escalated up to Tier 2 for resolution, or Email the mods here with your account info.

After 1 hour, 7 mins and 7 secs on the phone and listening to some crummy repetitive music that almost made me sick I finally got to tier 2. Jeb got me up to over 100 Mbps download in a few minutes without all the song and dance like unplug this plug it the other way, turn off this and all that stuff. The code was wrong and he reset it easily. Thanks

Good to hear! Why the Tier 1 techs can never figure this out, I don't know.
