No Email

I have been without email access through outlook for several days, yet I can access my email though web mail.  Is anyone else having this problem?  I get this error:  "There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.east.cox.net', Server: 'pop.east.cox.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid user name or password.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92".  Tech support was unable to help me.  They offered to reset my password, which I can do myself.  And my password is not the problem.  I can log on to web mail. Help!
