New modem/router
Hello mates
I received my new ubee modem/router this morning as I was in need of an update. The wireless works perfectly well on all my devices (laptop and such) but fails to connect on my Xbox 360. I can connect to the internet but it fails to connect to xbox live, which is needed. I've spent a good amount of this afternoon attempting to determine exactly what needs to be done to fix this. Do you guys have any solutions?
Thanks

What modem ubee gateway do you have? DDW365 or DDW366? I couldn't find a guide for those exact models, but give this a try and see if its close enough? Also, I assume you only have the Ubee gateway right? No other router connected to it?

When in doubt, check out http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

@healthy edge
I have the DDW365. Odd thing occurred recently, my friend xboxs (360 and one) could easily connect but mine couldn't. A few days ago mine started working just fine and today it yet again stopped working. I can connect to the internet just fine but not xbox live. I'm tempted to believe it would be my xbox if it wasn't for the fact I can easily connect to my apartments free (and rather terrible) wireless without issue.
I do only have the Ubee gateway yes. No router or anything. The xbox is literally right through the wall from the router.
@ Chris
Yes that's the first thing I check.
Thanks mates

Sounds like a issue with UPnP negotiating the connection between Xbox and XBL. Are you always going to have 2 Xbox connected to your network?

Yes I believe so, or at least for the foreseeable future.
Thanks

Might need a different router then, or figure out some tricky port forwarding and triggering. With two consoles, usually the only way to get both online at the same time effectively is to use UPnP. If there is some kind of compatibility issue then your options are limited with that model router.
