New Apple Airport Router
Apparently I need to get a new one as my Airport Time Capsule is dropping internet connection. Last time there was a Cox page that told me specifically which one I had to get for Cox router. What is the current requirement so I get the right one? Thakns.

There are many reports concerning the Airport Extreme and IPv6 ... are you in an area Cox has implemented IPv6? A work-a-round maybe to disable IPv6 in the Airport.
If you have a separate modem and router, Cox only has a requirement on the modem, not the router. Any router you select with gigabit Ethernet ports should work (problems with Airport excepted). If you don't want to stick with Apple, the Netgear Nighthawk series and ASUS are well regarded home routers.

Allen is correct; there is no router compatibility requirement. If you need it, the list of Cox compatible modems can be found at http://bit.ly/CoxCompatibleModemList.
We've heard from quite a few Apple Airport users regarding chronic disconnects. There are several workaround-type "fixes" floating around online that might be helpful to you. Make sure you do your research before purchasing new equipment!

Try setting your Airport IPv6 to local only. Go here to see how to change your settings, and set the IPv6 to local instead of native.
Also what model modem do you have? Also what model Airport do you have? N or AC? Do you have any logs you can post?
