Need additional public IP to do NAT on my second VPN pass-thru tunnel

I am using vpn-tunnel to connect to my company from home,  now I need to run second pass-thru VPN tunnel. These tunnels can't use same external public IP address How I get second public IP address assigned ?

Does your IP need to be static? If so, I would suggest Cox Business, since thats the only way to get a static IP. The other way would be to pay for Multiple Computer Access (MCA) which is a service that allows for multiple dynamic IP's. Or, depending on your area, you could upgrade to Ultimate which includes the 3 DHCP.

Also, how do you plan on networking it? Will you be using a switch in between modem and VPN or does your router have multiple interfaces with separate WAN IP's?

The solution to your issue is going to come down to an issue of what gear you have and what will fit into your overall situation.  Your typical consumer grade home gateway routers simply aren't going to support multiple public IP addresses.  If you're on a residential HSI account you could enable multiple computer access as suggested however you'll need a second router and a switch so you can connect both routers to the modem.  Should you move on to a more commercial type of router that does support multiple pubic IP's  you could move to a Cox Business account as how on such routers the IP addresses must be assigned statically.

Thank you. I have Cox High-Speed Internet - Premier Package It looks like I can do 3 dhcp, good to know. I have switch, and second router , etc so 3 dhcp should be more than enough.

Unfortunately, no. I think your looking at the MCA website and seeing where it shows available(max) IP's, not how many are assigned to your account. MCA is a service you pay for which allows the additional IP to bridge. Basically you get I DHCP IP per data service (account) free, everything else cost extra unless you have Ultimate Tier.

Thank again, You are right, it says Computers Active 1 , Computers allowed 3. And there is option to Add Computer. So you are saying I can add 'computer' (vpn router in my case) and get IP address assigned from DHCP without paying yet ?

When trying to Add Computer it says:

You are about to add a computer to your romaniuk@cox.net account and incur an additional monthly fee

No, the opposite. You get the IP that your using now, like normal, anything beyond that cost extra. Thats why its saying its going to apply a charge. Your probably better off calling Cox and talking with their sales department to get exact pricing first. Also, sometimes doing via the website is glitchy.

Last time I checked it was $6.99/mo. with a one time $9.99 activation charge.

You can actually do it online via Internet Tools.  Often this is easier than speaking with sales.
