Moving TV to Another Room

I'm planning on moving a TV that's been set up by Cox professionals to a different room in my apartment (there are already cable cords and whatnot in that room, so plugging in shouldn't be a problem), I was just wondering if I needed to have COX come and do it, or could I just move it and plug it all in my self and still be good to watch TV?

"...Cox professionals..." That's funny!

Seriously, the Cox techs set up your TV set? I didn't think that they did that.

I say, go ahead and do it.

Hi jcmeade, for most circumstances you should be fine to move the cables and equipment to another room without any issues as long as that outlet is active. If the outlet is not active, then you will need to have a tech come back out to activate the wall jack.
