moving and will not have cox as a provider
We are moving to Colorado and COX is not a service there. After we shut off COX for internet, phone and cable tv- is there a way to transfer our email from COX to our new provider. Thanks

That would depend on your provider. Who will it be? You won't be able to transfer the email address, but you might be able to move or download the actual emails into their system.
No matter what, you can always download your email into a client like Outlook or Thunderbird, and then reconfigure it for your new email with the new provider.
