Modem choice
I need help choosing among the following Motorola/Arris modems. I don't have and don't need WiFi. Modem ease of use and functionality is more important than initial price:
SB6121 - $70 172mps/131mps
SB6141 - $87 343mps/131mps
SB6183 - $130 686mps/131mps
Currently getting 22.8mps/4mps with Cox Internet Preferred & SB5100. Just email, Usenet, web-browsing/shopping. No games. No interest in games.

The SB6183 if money is not a issue, since it's future proof with it's 24x8 tuner. However since your plan is Preferred, the SB6141 would work fine. I have preferred and the SB6141 is the modem I personally use.
PS. Did you happen to find a SB6183 for sale online? If so, could you share the link? I may buy one just for fun.

249$ is rip off, and looks like they aren't even shipping units yet if you believe the Q&A. I wouldn't buy from this "lv sales" and wait until the official source get more in stock. Thanks for links though.
