Low Download/Upload speed
Hi.
I have been paying for premier internet service for about 4 years and never really checked up on what I was actually getting. I've been watching my download/upload speeds for about a month now and it seems that I am not getting what I pay for.
Premier is advertised at 100 mbps download speed.
I am typically in the 21-24 mbps range.
Bypassing my router does not seem to influence the speed at all.
What is going on here?

First, what area do you live in? Premier isn't 100Mbps everywhere..IE like where I live, it's only 50.
Second, what kind of modem do you have? Can you post the signal levels? Also, can you post some of the speed test results? Don't forget to try different servers unless it's Cox's speed test. Sometimes the servers the test run on can be congested.
