I was watching tv in the bedroom which is just a basic connection from the wall to the tv ( no box) and the channel went fuzzy like there was interference and then the screen went blue. Ever since then I have a blue screen on channels 2-47 but a perfect picture on channels 48-70. I have disconnected the coaxial and reconnected at both the wall and the tv. My son has the same set up in his room and he is getting all channels perfectly.

Sounds like somebody might have put a filter on the line that goes to your bedroom. Do you live in a multi-person house or apartment complex where that is possible? If not, maybe something happened to the wire but I am thinking not.

Mike,
This isn't a case of someone filtering your line as the channels where you are cutting off are competely wrong for a trap to have been placed & the trap would affect all your TV's not just this one room.
Do you have a splitter on that line? If so try removing it to see if that might have gone bad.
In addition to this can you please try running a channel scan on the TV to see if you can get the TV tuner to reset & pick up the rest of the missing channels?
Please try both and let us know if the channels are restored.
