Yes that worked - thank you - so let's move on as to why I'm getting only 24.36 download and 6.53 upload on a Preferred account?
Win7 - gigabit adapter
Modem = Cisco DCP3010
Can you check to see if the account is set up correctly (ie DOCSIS 3.0 profile) before we get into any other factors?
I note that my account shows the modem as a "RSA3010" - mean anything to you?

Thats just the naming scheme Cox uses in their equipment data base. Stands for "Retail Scientific Atlanta model 3010". Scientific Atlanta because that was the company that made the modems before being bought out by Cisco.
