Java update
I recently updated java to the latest version since then I have been unable to send out mail. I do get a error message warning. However, I do continue to receive incoming mail. Any clue why this is happening. Cox support has been no help at all.

Although we're not able to troubleshoot issues with Java itself it sounds like being that you're getting error messages realted to it that your Java installation may not have finished properly. You could try unsintalling and reinstalling it to see if it works better the second time around. In the meanwhile I suspect you're probably using our webmail with the graphical editor to send email. If that's the case as a workaround you can switck back to the plain editor when you need to send.
