IPv6 prefix size

IPv6 was recently turned on in my market (Baton Rouge) but it seems the network only hands out a single /64, that seems a bit small in an age where virtually everyone has a guest network, theres no way to run stateless address autoconfiguration on two networks (main and guest) with only a single /64, is there a way to get my allocation increased to a /56? or at least a /60?

Yes, you can pull up to a/60 and a /56, it depends on your router, it has to be able to send a prefix hint of something larger than a /64.

No, I don't think so. Why would you need more then 18,000,000,000,000,000,000 IPs?

With IPv6 the standard prefix for a lan is a /64, if you want a separate network/vlan you need multiple/64's. A /60 would give you 16 and a /56 would give you 256 /64's to use.
