Internet speed

I just upgraded my modem to take full advantage of the Preferred program (50Mbps speed) that I'm paying for.

For the last two-three days, your speed test as well as several other speed test sites indicate I'm running at 12-17 Mbps.

If I'm only getting around 25% of what I'm paying for, should I switch to another program.

Not too satisfied

When you're running the tests, are you wired or wireless?

Also, what model modem did you upgrade to?

That is certainly lower then what we would expect from that tier, more then likely there is some kind of signal or latency based issue with the connection. But knowing whether it is a wired or wireless connection and more information on the modem can help us narrow it down.
