Internet Price INCREASE!

I just received my latest billing statement from Cox (I live in Roanoke, Va.) and my internet services seem to have increased by $20/month??  Is this correct?  Why the huge hike in prices?  I, unfortunately, rent a condo with a resident regulations committee who will not allow the installation of satellite dishes, most likely for aesthetic reasons.  If this were not the case, I would be cancelling my service with Cox.  Existing customers should not be gouged on fees like this.  I rarely use my internet - rather, I have it only so that my terminally-ill husband can get NetFlix.  TV is his only luxury - its such a shame that the prices are increased in this manner without warning and by so much!
